Program Components

The program components include community-based and on-site vocational training, as well as functional home and community living skill development. 

  • Community-Based Vocational Training:
    • On-the-job training at local businesses and agencies

  • On-Site Work Activity Center:
    • Improvement of work habits
    • On-task and task completion behaviors
    • Following directions
    • Product assembly, packaging, and collating

  • Home and Community Living Functional Skills Curriculum:

    • Consumer reading and mathematics
    • Personal hygiene
    • Home living independence
    • Recreation and leisure activities
    • Health, safety, and mobility
    • Social interaction and character development
